1967 MGB GT Sebring Replica For Sale - New Instruction

This car is a professionally constructed car using the shell of an MGB GT, built as homage to the early development cars and the 1968 MGC Sebring Coupe.

The original body shell was stripped to a bare metal shell and suitably modified before being fitted with new wings, bonnet, doors and panels, new sills, jacking points and front towing eyes to create the correct Sebring appearance. All panels were then painted in the correct shade of BRG and a Safety Devices roll cage fitted. The interior has been completely retrimed and the dash has a recalibrated speedo along with a Retro Trip 2 trip meter along with a map light and full harnesses. A total rewire using all new components has been done, along with re-work of the braking and steering systems.

Fitted with a rebuilt 1995cc Oselli Fast Road spec unit (135bhp) coupled with a hand built bespoke Maniflow exhaust system and twin choke Weber carburetter. A Kenlowe fan is fitted to help with the cooling, suspension includes Koni and Spax adjustable shocks along with a new handling kit and anti roll bars have been fitted. The fuel system is new and is complimented by the correct type of Sebring fuel filler. The overdrive gearbox, axle and propshaft have all been rebuilt  and the car is running on 8J Minilite alloys fitted with 225VR15 Dunlops. The vehicle has been detailed with Sebring headlight cowls,  new badges and bright work, correct Orange detail to the front panel and Old English White towing points, a new tinted laminated screen.

The above is only a brief description of the work that has gone into creating this outstanding and precisely detailed replica, with less than 7000 miles covered since it's restoration. Any road test shows this to be a very quick and fun car that can be used easilly for track or historic rally events, or just as a fast road car.
